the air conditioning didn’t work well.

The Superior Family Room was a decent size with comfy beds. But the air conditioning was a real letdown. it didn’t work, and we were too hot & humid. We had to have cold showers just to cool down at night. They offered a room change later, but we were too tired to bother. Just a bit disappointing for the price paid.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, enjoying spacious rooms and a superb breakfast, with a quick walk to the beautiful Jardim Amalia Rodrigues and less than a 15-minute stroll to the vibrant Praça do Comércio, allowing for plenty of leisurely explorations throughout my time in the city. it's perfect for anyone who loves discovering local gems on foot. I was a single traveler for 5 nights and marveled at how the cheerful staff made my mornings brighter with their friendly service and rich breakfast options, but it would be great if they could offer a bit more guidance on local sights to make the most of my stay.
